Exclusive Oil-Bath Bearing System
Back to back tapered bearings in large cast steel housings and sealed with floating metal oil seals. Tapered bearings are designed for thrust unlike ball bearings used by other manufacturers. Specifications
Frame............... 8" x 8" x 1/2" high strength steel tube frame, 7" x 7" x 1/2" high strength steel tube gang bars, fully welded and reinforced.
Bearings........... Oil-Bath, back to back tapered roller bearings in heavy ductile cast housing with floating Duo-Cone ® seals. The bearing operates in 90W gear oil for constant lubrication. Bearing comes complete with wear plates. Click here to read more about the Oil-Bath Bearing.
Gang Shaft....... 2 - 1/2" heated treated high strength alloy steel, threaded at both ends.
Spacing............. Model 500 - 14" fabricated heavy steel spacer spool.
Model 600 - 17" fabricated heavy steel spacer spool.
Disc Blades........ Model 500 - 1/2" x 32" notched disc blades front and rear.
Model 600 - 1/2" x 36" notched disc blades front and rear.
Hubs/ Tires........ Goodyear 385/65R22.5 Super SIngle Radial heavy industrial tires mounted on 5-spoke Dayton hubs.
Hydraulics......... 5" x 20" hydraulic cylinder complete with hoses, despth control segments and cylinder transport lock.
Standard............ 7000lb hitch jack, plated grade 8 fasteners, gang wrench (2), seperate fore/aft and transport level controls and a heavy swivel flapper hook-up.
